The Seattle Seahawks put up a good effort but just couldn’t quite hang on in a 25-19 loss to the Chicago Bears.
The Seahawks jumped out to a 13-0 lead before a questionable call allowed the Bears to keep the ball inside the Seattle 10 and eventually punch the ball into the end zone.
Nonetheless, Seattle still managed to hold a lead late in the game before giving up a long touchdown pass to Devin Hester.
Things don’t get any easier for the Seahawks, who now must travel to Indianapolis to take on the undefeated Colts.

The Seattle Seahawks couldn’t follow up last week’s impressive effort, falling to the San Francisco 49ers, 23-10.
One of the reasons for the loss had to be the injury to quarterback Matt Hasselback, who hurt his rib and did not return.
Hasselback was trying to dive into the end zone for a touchdown when he was crushed by linebacker Patrick Willis.
After further evaluations the next day, the team concluded that Hasselback suffered a broken rib.
The team has not decided whether or not he will be able to play in their next game.

The Seattle Seahawks came out in the season opener intent on making a statement, and that’s exactly what they did.
The Seahawks steamrolled the rival St. Louis Rams, shutting them out, 28-0.
Quarterback Matt Hasselback looked completely healthy, throwing for 279 yards and three touchdowns.
It was a big day for tight end John Carlson, who had almost 100 yards and two touchdowns to follow up his rookie season.
With Arizona struggling out of the gate, it could be the Seahawks’ division in 2009.

Looking for help at the safety position, the Seattle Seahawks picked up the phone and called Lawyer Milloy.
Just call it an example of the Seahawks helping to stimulate the economy, as the veteran was sitting on the unemployment line.
Now Milloy has been thrust into the middle of the Seattle defense, providing depth at worst and having a starring role at best.
Milloy, a 35-year old former Super Bowl champion, had been spending his time in Seattle just hanging out with his wife when he got the call.
He said he tried to hit the snooze button a bunch of times on his first day of work but finally got up and headed to the team facility.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselback spent most of last year on the sidelines nursing various injuries, and whispers of his demise began to crop up.
Many starter talking about who the Seahawks would draft as the successor to Hasselback, and some thought it may happen sooner rather than later.
After surgery and time to heal in the offseason, Hasselback looks to be 100 percent healthy and has been terrific throughout the preseason.
In the latest preseason game, Hasselback rebounded from an early interceptions that was returned for a score to throw for over 200 yards and two touchdowns.
All of the sudden, the Seahawks look like a team poised to push the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West.
