The Seattle Seahawks have traded backup quarterback Seneca Wallace to the Cleveland Browns.
In return, the Seahawks will receive a 2011 undisclosed draft pick from the Browns.
It’s a little surprising that the Seahawks elected to deal Wallace given their uncertain situation at quarterback.
Matt Hasselback has been inconsistent the past couple of years and also very prone to injuries.
The Seahawks very well could be clearing the room to take a quarterback with their first-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall is meeting with the Seattle Seahawks, who are hoping to reach an agreement on a contract with the star.
The Broncos would then be given the chance to match or exceed Seattle’s offer to retain his services. If not, he would become a Seahawk and Seattle would surrender its first round pick to Denver.
The Seahawks are in desperate need of a playmaking wide receiver, even more so now that Nate Burleson left to sign a big deal with the Detroit Lions.
Marshall has a lot of on and off-the-field baggage which has caused a lot of teams to back away from him even though he is one of the top wide receivers in the game.
The Seahawks are likely to spend much of their time meeting with Marshall discussing his problems and trying to gauge whether or not he could turn things around in Seattle.
