The Seattle Seahawks didn’t put up much of a fight (get the USC pun?) in a 31-14 road loss to the Denver Broncos.
The Seahawks fell behind 17-0 by halftime, at which point it was pretty obvious that the game was already over.
Seattle simply doesn’t possess the kind of offense necessary to play from behind against anyone, especially on the road.
Veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck threw for 233 yards and a touchdown but tossed three interceptions. ( Read More…)

The Seattle Seahawks have traded cornerback Josh Wilson to the Baltimore Ravens for a conditional draft pick in 2011. The pick is likely a fifth rounder, but could end up being a fourth-round pick depending on Wilson’s contributions in Baltimore.
Wilson is a free agent after the season, which could be part of the reason why Seattle deemed him expendable.
The Seahawks also have a new head coach, and it’s likely that Pete Carroll wants to bring in his own guys. The best way to do that is to trade away the guys that don’t fit your system and get draft picks to select the guys that do.
